  • Senior Lifetime Pass (62+) – $80 one-time.
  • Senior Annual Pass – $20.
  • Military & Gold Star Families Pass – Free with ID.
  • 4th Grader “Every Kid Outdoors” Pass – Free for the student and accompanying family.
  • Free-Entry Days 2025: Jan 20, Apr 19, Aug 4, Sep 27, Nov 11 (no ticket required, but arrive before 9 a.m. to beat lines).

Back-Country & Special Permits

  • Back-country camping: $10 application fee + $24/night below the rim or $6/night above the rim (new rates proposed May 2025). (home.nps.gov)
  • River trips & rim-to-rim runs: Require lottery permits separate from the entrance ticket.
  • Mule rides, campgrounds, lodging: Reserve early; these sell out months in advance but do not replace your entrance pass.
